Job requirements
What You’ll Be Doing Each Day
Your day begins in the morning with a full household reset and preparation for the day ahead.
You move through the home with intention:
Resetting shared spaces
Managing dishes and laundry flow
Checking inventory and restocking essentials
Preparing simple meals
Running errands
Keeping the home moving in a steady rhythm
Throughout the day, you also provide hands-on support with the children when needed. This may include:
Helping with morning routines
Assisting with transitions in and out of the home
Supporting structure and consistency during the day
Stepping in more fully during school breaks, travel periods, or higher-need days
Some days are predictable.
Other days require flexibility.By the end of the day, the home feels reset, organized, and supported, and the family feels prepared for the next day.
Household Management & Daily Resets
Maintain overall household order and flow
Reset kitchen and common areas daily
Manage dishes, trash, and general tidying
Light surface cleaning between professional cleanings
Monitor and restock household supplies
Run errands and grocery shopping
Professional cleaners visit regularly.
This role maintains the home between cleanings.Meals & Kitchen Support
Prepare simple, healthy meals
Support meal prep and lunches
Maintain kitchen organization
Manage pantry and fridge inventory
Childcare & Family Support
Provide reliable, hands-on support with children as needed
Assist with morning routines and transitions
Support structure and daily flow
Step into more active childcare during travel, school breaks, or high-need periods
Maintain a calm, warm, and consistent presence
Respect routines and family preferences
This is not a full-time nanny role, but comfort with hands-on childcare is essential.
Organization & Systems
Maintain household organization systems
Improve efficiency and flow where helpful
Help document routines and preferences
Support implementation of systems created by organizers if applicable
Pet Support
Comfortable working in a home with a dog
Minimal pet responsibilities

Comfortable with children

Hospitality-minded, with a true “hotel reset” standard for the home
You take pride in how a space feels not just how it looks.
Experience & Fit
1+ years of household management experience, family assistant experience, or similar home-operations role
Experience supporting families with school-aged children (parenting experience is a plus, but not required)
Comfortable working in a multi-ethnic household and handling a variety of foods
No food-handling restrictions (must be comfortable with nuts, shellfish, etc.)
Physically capable of active mornings and household movement
Authorized to work in the US
Schedule
Full-Time | Approximately 30–40 hours per week
Typical schedule:
Monday–Friday
Early morning start during the school year
Slightly later start possible during summer
Occasional flexibility may be needed for travel coverage or planned support.
