Who We're Looking For
You might be the right fit if:
You're genuinely comfortable with babies. Not just "okay with kids." You understand what a 6-month-old actually needs. You've held fussy babies, navigated wake windows, and know that some days the laundry waits because the baby needs you.
You bring calm into a room, not chaos. The family describes what they're looking for as "nervous-system-friendly." You're emotionally steady, warm, and grounded. You don't bring drama, defensiveness, or passive-aggressive energy into a space.
You notice what needs to happen and you do it. You see the full sink, the laundry pile, the dog who hasn't been out yet, and you move through it without needing to be told.
You're open to learning their parenting approach. The family practices attachment-style parenting (presence over performance, no screens around the baby, supporting autonomy). You don't need to already know this framework, but you need to be genuinely open to it.
You communicate well and take feedback without ego. Early weeks involve a learning curve. The right person says "got it, I'll adjust," not "that's not how I was taught."
You care about doing things well, not just getting them done. The difference between clean laundry shoved in a drawer and laundry folded and put away properly matters to you.
Your Background
We care more about who you are than where you've worked. That said, experience in any of these areas is a strong signal :
Nannying or family assistance, especially with infants
Running your own household with kids. If you raised children and managed a home, that is real, transferable experience and we want to hear about it
Hospitality: hotels, guest services, concierge, event coordination
Caregiving: home health, patient care, eldercare
Executive or personal assistance: supporting someone's life, not just their calendar
We're open to non-traditional backgrounds. If you've spent the last few years as a parent and you're looking for part-time work that uses the skills you already have, this could be a great fit.
Schedule & Pay
Part-time: 20-25 hours per week
Days: Monday: 9am - 3pm - Tuesday: 10am - 5pm - Thursday: 9am - 3pm
